“X” is happening and it is not good for you.”
We are fed these or similar terms in our personal and business lives on a daily basis.
Please be prudent as to how you process what you read and hear about “X”.
Take the time to personally unpack “X”, especially if it provokes a visceral reaction.
Visceral reactions are forks in the road.
They are potentially pathways to growth or hate.
Recognizing a problem is a pathway forward for growth.
Be cautious as most problems are way more complex than knee-jerk solutions.
Knee-jerk solutions may also have hidden agendas.
Take time to really examine “X”.
Your reaction to “X” may be you:
– Quitting on yourself
– Holding others responsible for the less-than optimal outcomes in your life.
– Not picking up a burden heavy enough to cause you to personally develop.
– Looking for a simple solution to a very complex problem.
– Being mentally groomed or being too lazy to spend time unpacking the snappy new term being used by main-stream media intended to stoke the fire of mob mentality, where a single person can wash away personal responsibility in the collective group.
